By now its so evident how much I like to style an outfit in different ways. It opens up so many options and ways to repeat an outfit without looking repetitive.
I received this beautiful Authentic Handcrafted Pure Banarasi Checks Saree from Unnati Silks. The earthy hues of burgundy and green borders combination looked just so graceful. I instantly imagined styling it in my head in the most effortless and classic way of Floating style, where the saree is draped the common traditional way and keeping the pallu open along your shoulder as well as your arm, along with some traditional polki style jewellery.
But do we stop at that?! Absolutely not
Lets give a little edge to the ever so demure traditional handcrafted Banarasi saree . For this look, I quickly pulled back my hair in a side bun, changed my red lips to dark plum, and changed the traditional polki studs in my ears with antique silver hoops along with a different draping of pallu across the neck.
I absolutely loved the outcome. Saree is such a versatile piece of clothing, a lil change of drape here and there and you get a totally new look, and this one took 5 minutes flat. Let me know which look do u dig more, Sweet or Savory!?
